A while back there was a thread on Prego asking what were the top five dolls on our wish list. I love lists, database freak that I am, and I've been mulling this one ever since. So here's my fantasy wish list, by which I mean the dolls I know I will never be able to own unless I win the lottery or inherit a fortune. It's changed a couple of times since I posted my reply on the board, and it will probably forever be in constant flux. But at this particular moment, here are the five unattainable dolls I most covet .
5. Primavera American Model. I've never been drawn to the American Model line and I purely don't like yellowy green, but for some reason the combination of face, hair, style, and color really draws me to this doll.

4. Captivating Swashbuckler Cissy--I don't collect Cissy, but wow, this would be a good one to start with.

3. Evangeline Ghastly --I love her gothic Victorian vibe and frankly morbid story. She's the only BJD I have any serious interest in. And of course, I'd need all her swoopy, romantic outfits, accessories, and her wonderful coffin-shaped carrying case!
2. 2005 dressed Wicked Witch--I found Wicked a boring, pointless, and pretentious book. Which pains me, because I love Baum's mythology and have always been ready to embrace other visions of Oz. The only thing I took away from Wicked was the idea of the Wicked Witch as a young woman of principle and character. Robert Tonner's sculpt perfectly captures that image. This face is strong, not conventionally beautiful but striking.
1. And the doll at the top of my fantasy wish list: Jordy, the most recent Mirror Mirror Daphne repaint by Debra at American Jezebel. Repaints are soooo out of my price range that I never, ever let myself seriously want one, but Jordy is the doll that broke my resolve. This face hunts me.
