*sob* Christian didn't win. Yay! Kristie won!

Kinda schizo, huh? I was sad when Christian was knocked out but I was happy that he made it all the way to the final program. And I got to see his Paso Doble again, that costume was hot! Jason's Quick Step and Kristie's Jive were my favorites of their dances. I loved seeing everyone come back and do their favorite routines. The whole program was fun, and Kristie really was the best dancer. I can't wait until the next season starts in September.

But I think the best moment of the whole show was what Adam Corolla said: "This is why the terrorists hate us—we've got black and white, Hispanic and Asian, gay, straight and Guttenberg, all working together for one common goal. And the mirror ball doesn't care what color you are…God bless Dancing With the Stars, and God bless the USA". Sing out, brother! Of course, I suspect the teeny little outfits on the ladies really tick the ragheads off, too.

The hours this program are on is the only time Himself and I sit down to do anything together that doesn't involve dice and lead. I talked to him about spending Mondays working on his Campaign Supplement now that DWTS is over until September, we'll see how that goes.

I cooked supper tonight, just chicken and rice but firstborn said the sweetest things about it and ninjakitty put away the leftovers without being told so she could eat it again tomorrow. Gratifying! Guess I'll have to make sure chicken, rice, and cream of mushroom soup are in the emergency food stash so we can have an occasional treat even after the apocalypse.

Still haven't heard the results of the May Pattern Challenge from Fletcher. I figured Gary and all the judges were running mad trying to get ready for the Tonner Con so I didn't even bother checking the site for the past couple of weeks. But everyone has been home for a whole day now! Cripes, people, which is more important, your work or my gown?

The new Spring release for Ellowyne debuted today. *sigh* I want the Wigged Out Prudence and the Oh My Goth outfit . And I agree with ninjakitty that we need the sneakers. That's it, out of the whole new line. See? It's not like I go overboard or anything. But no new dolls for Robin until she gets a job. Dumb old mortgage company. Then of course when I am working, I'm so tired and sore by the time I get home that I can't enjoy anything, even dolls. That's got to be like one of the top five on the Why Fibro Sux list.
